The Centre for Education and Advancement of Spiritual Care is an integral part of the Mennonite Brethren Seminary. As such, the Centre operates under the same charitable organization as MB Seminary. Year-end charitable donation receipts will be issued by MB Seminary on behalf of The Centre.

You can use your Visa or MasterCard to make a single gift or to provide a monthly donation.
You will be asked to enter contact information so that The Centre and MB Seminary can provide you with a charitable donation receipt at the end of the calendar year. (reminder: The centre operates under the same charitable organization as MB Seminary. Year-End charitable donation receipts will be issued by MB Seminary on behalf of the Centre. Processing fees for online gifts are approximately 3% per transaction, similar to what retailers charge for purchases.

IN-KIND GIFTS, STOCKS, AND MARKETABLE SECURITIES
MB Seminary is able to receive various kinds of marketable securities (including stock certificates) from corporations and individuals. In-kind gifts are also welcome and include assets such as real estate, automobiles, commodities, and other property. Such gifts often result in current-year income tax deductions and may have other tax benefits as well.

Spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by The Centre and MB Seminary. Each restricted contribution designated towards such an approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by The Centre and the Seminary, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where needed most as determined by The Centre and the Seminary.
MB Seminary and The Centre are recognized by Revenue Canada as a charitable organization. All gifts are fully deductible to the extent allowed by Revenue Canada.
